GoBoard Tile Backer Accessories

GoBoard^® Fasteners are tile backer board fasteners designed for securing GoBoard to wood or metal studs, as well as subfloors. These corrosion-resistant fasteners have larger diameter heads for more holding power and the smooth underside of the head helps mitigate over-driving the screw. GoBoard Fasteners are available in contractor packs of 700 pieces and come with the required T-25 Torx head bit. Using GoBoard Washers is optional with these tile backer board fasteners, depending on your application.

GoBoard tile backer board fasteners are for use on:

GoBoard^® Seam Fabric is a lightweight, point bonded non-woven that is specifically designed to enhance the performance of all GoBoard products. When used with GoBoard Tile Backer Board and GoBoard Wedge, installers can expect increased tensile strength at the joints and in the change of planes. Get to tile faster using GoBoard Seam fabric due to superior adhesion between GoBoard Pro Sealant and thin-set mortars. And best of all, there’s no need to wait for the sealant to skin over.

GoBoard^® Washers are hardened steel washers that provide maximum holding strength when fastening tile backer board to stud framing. Each washer has tabs for pre-positioning prior to driving the fasteners. These reverse tabs also prevent the washers from stacking while packaged – making them easy to separate. When using GoBoard Washers in your installation, the fastener spacing increases to 12 inches.

GoBoard^® Point Drain Kit includes a universal drain body and friction fit universal drain cover riser, and is designed for use with the GoBoard Shower System. The drain body is compatible with numerous brands of both threaded and non-threaded drain cover risers, making the possibilities endless. When used with the GoBoard Wedge, the low profile design of this drain enables curbless installations and also allows for height adjustment based on the thickness of the shower pan tile.

The GoBoard Point drain complies to IAPMO PS 106, Tileable Shower Receptors and Shower Kits, and ASME A112.18.2/CSA B125.2.

GoBoard^® Pro Sealant is a moisture curing sealant that provides tenacious adhesion to GoBoard and other common building materials. Use GoBoard Pro Sealant to waterproof GoBoard joints and fastener penetrations and adhere GoBoard to itself and other building materials. Because it contains no solvents or isocyanates, GoBoard Pro Sealant is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and exhibits minimal odor.
