Continue Your Commercial Roofing Education with BURSI
The Better Understanding of Roofing Systems Institute (BURSI) was launched in 1972 to provide further education to the design community around commercial roofing. These education programs are certified by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC).
In 2022 BURSI will celebrate 50 years of in-class room and virtual training. Below are the in-person spring session dates, including a brand new Level Two BURSI course at our Research Center (JMTC) located in Littleton, CO.
Level One
April 10-12, 2022
May 1-3, 2022
Level Two
May 22-24, 2022
Level One provides an overview of various roofing components, system selection, demos, and a tour of our lab building. Level Two will include an overview of various codes, modification to a system, testing processes, and resiliency and vertical design considerations, along with a tour of our lab building.
